Amazing article about the ancient Bristlecone Pines found in the wonderfully name “Forest of Ancients”(not it’s not from FF7!). A tree that appears to be lifeless and dead, which is in fact so adapted to living in the harsh environment of the White mountains that it’s only one of the few lifeforms that managed to survive in thr arid environment. A great reference too, a typical geomorphsite (well a Floramorphsite really!), a single entity that really defines the environment.
